That is hilarious. My husband likes to drape his half in/half out of the hamper like a "Do My Laundry" signal.
FYI There are at least 8 people just on Blogger who list the Middle Place as one of their all time favorite books (including me!)
How about the cereal bowl that's left sooooo close to the dishwasher, with the milky coating still in it?! But I surely would miss that man of mine!
Yeah, men have a problem interpreting six inches. Love, love the book.
