Thanks for coming by…

I started my career in 2008 by writing books, four bestselling memoirs about different seasons of family life. Somewhere along the line, I started a TV show on PBS, now in its 7th season, interviewing personal heroes like Bryan Stevenson and Melinda Gates. Lately, I’ve spent most of my time podcasting where I get to dig in with high IQ/EQ people like Bono and Esther Perel. I live in New York City and Bozeman, MT with my husband and, sometimes, our daughters who come in and out. Speaking of those two, Claire (now a senior at UVA) and I have written a children’s book about the innovator’s mindset called Marianne The Maker that is available now for pre-order and comes out June 3, 2025.
